In 1988, a new mandate from God instructed our founder, Apostle Robert Evans, to organize the Beth-.El Churches of Christ, Inc. Under Bishop's leadership, the Beth-El Churches experienced consistent and rapid growth through the birthing and planting of new churches throughout the United States. In 1984, Bishop was invested with the "spirit of an apostle. " The fruit of his calling resulted in the formation of the End-Time World Christian Fellowship Association.
On Saturday, March 13, 2000, God called our Apostle back to Himself...Apostle Robert Evans, Jr., DD, Chief Apostle of the End-Time World Christian Fellowship Association, Presiding Prelate of the Beth-El Churches of Christ, Inc., Senior Pastor of the Beth-El Temple Church of Christ, Inc.
In 2001, following the passing of the Establishmentarian and First Apostle, Bishop Bernard Bragg was elected the new Presiding Prelate of the Beth-El Churches of Christ. Bishop Bragg was an anointed vessel of God, whose mission was to edify, educate, evangelize, and economically empower the community of believers through kingdom principles. He was an honorable man, dedicated to leading God’s people, God’s way. On the fifteenth day of March 2019, after serving as Presiding Bishop for nearly 20 years, His Eminence, Bernard Nathaniel Bragg was Promoted to Glory.
In 2019, Bishop Richard Pender was elected, by Beth-El's College of Bishops, as the third Presiding Prelate of the Beth-El Churches of Christ after His Grace, Bishop Bernard N. Bragg was promoted to Glory! Bishop Pender is noted for his love and faithfulness to the House of God. It is Bishop Pender’s earnest desire to carry out the vision of his spiritual father, the late Apostle Robert Evans, Jr., being persuaded that the latter house will be greater than the former house, God being his help.
